Yesterday, the Ontario government got a court order freezing the $11 million in GiveSendGo donations people have made to the trucker convoy in place in downtown Ottawa and at a handful of border crossings.
Today, Premier Doug Ford has declared a state of emergency and is threatening anyone involved in the blockades with fines of up to $100,000 or a year in jail.
True North’s Andrew Lawton says the convoy’s momentum isn’t going to be stopped by this, because it’s a grassroots effort with rather basic needs – food and fuel. In this Edition of The Andrew Lawton Show, he talks about what this means for the convoy.
