WATCH: Maryland Passes Law to Allow Infanticide Up To 28 Days After Birth

Thanks to legal advocacy, and to Maryland Right to Life who directly shared the legal analysis prepared with the sponsor of the bill, Senator Smith is removing the "perinatal" language from S.B. 669, and is delaying its hearing.

However, there is an identical bill being pushed by the Maryland House: H.B. 626.

The fate of H.B. 626 may directly impact whether S.B. 669 ever makes it to a committee hearing, which is why our testimony is so necessary.
